Systems Administrator role to work alongside the Senior Systems Administrator to configure, administer, and develop the server, telephony, and desktop infrastructure, whilst providing the point of escalation in resolving related incidents and changes logged by our Service Desk.
As a Systems Administrator you will have key responsibilities in systems & data security; backup & recovery (as part of an overall Business DR plan); scheduled maintenance; and the documentation of the related systems and administration processes. The role will also liaise directly with third party suppliers and service providers, as well as having responsibility for administering hosted solutions.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of teams and users, and be comfortable managing your own projects. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently and is kept up to date.
