A New Season. A Growing Family. A Bigger Future.
The 2026/27 season promises to be an exciting one for Bradford (Park Avenue) Juniors, as we continue to build a strong, inclusive and ambitious junior pathway.
Following the successful completion of our pre-registration process, we are delighted to enter the new season with teams representing U7 through to U16, bringing together more than 170 young players across the age groups.
This growth reflects the strength of the Bradford (Park Avenue) junior programme and our commitment to providing children and young people with a positive footballing environment where they can develop their skills, build friendships and feel a genuine sense of belonging to the club.
Investing in Our Coaches and Volunteers
As the programme continues to grow, so too does the need to strengthen the support around our coaches and volunteers.
During 2026/27, we will be developing plans to increase the number of committee members supporting the junior section. This will provide greater capacity around the day-to-day running of the programme, while also allowing us to place a greater emphasis on coach development, support and sharing best practice.
Our coaches are at the heart of the junior programme, and we want to ensure they have the tools, guidance and support they need to give every player the best possible experience.
Growing the Girls' Game
Another exciting ambition for the new season is the introduction of a girls' section within Bradford (Park Avenue) Juniors.
We want Bradford (Park Avenue) to be a club where girls feel they have a clear pathway to get involved in football, make friends, develop their confidence and progress within the game.
The introduction of a girls' section will be an important next step in making our junior programme more representative of our wider community.
Embracing the Future of Youth Football
The 2026/27 season will also see the junior section embrace the FA's introduction of 3v3 football, providing another opportunity to support player development through small-sided, high-engagement football.
The format will encourage players to have more touches of the ball, make decisions, be creative and develop their understanding of the game in an enjoyable environment.
Bringing Our Junior Players Into Matchday
One of our biggest ambitions is to strengthen the connection between our junior players and the wider Bradford (Park Avenue) football club.
As part of this commitment, every junior player will receive a family season ticket, helping to remove barriers to attending matches and encouraging families to become part of the wider Bradford (Park Avenue) matchday experience.
We want our junior players not only to represent the club on a weekend, but to see themselves as part of the Bradford (Park Avenue) family.
From watching the first team to playing in the junior section, we want to create a genuine pathway and sense of belonging from the earliest age groups through to adulthood.

Looking Ahead
With more than 170 players, teams from U7 to U16, new plans for coach development, ambitions for a girls' section and stronger links between junior football and first-team matchdays, the 2026/27 season represents an important chapter for Bradford (Park Avenue) Juniors.
We are incredibly proud of the progress made so far, but this is only the beginning.
Our aim is simple: to develop players, support coaches, engage families and build a junior section that the whole Bradford (Park Avenue) community can be proud of.
